Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Operator”) and passengers (“you”, “your”) for the provision of private hire vehicle (PHV) services. By booking and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP- ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING
A booking made through phone, text message, or email constitutes a legally binding agreement between the client and Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd for the provision of private hire vehicle services. As the Operator, we are responsible for confirming your booking and providing the transportation services as outlined in the booking confirmation.

This includes the arrangement of a licensed driver and vehicle to carry out the Journey.

OPERATOR’S RESPONSIBILITY
As the licensed Operator, Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd assumes full responsibility for the journey from the moment your booking is accepted until its completion. The assigned driver operates on behalf of Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd carrying out the transportation services.

⁠FARES AND PAYMENTS
The fare for your journey is determined at the time of booking or based on our standard rate price list. Payment for the journey will be processed directly by us through a digital invoice.
Payment options include BACS transfer, credit/debit card, or PayPal.
Upon receipt of payment, you will be provided with a receipt outlining the fare and any applicable additional charges.
All prices listed on our website are exclusive of 20% VAT unless specifically stated otherwise, your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car park fees.

The charge on your credit/debit card statement will be shown as Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd.
Rates are subject to change at any time without prior written notice.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd assumes full liability for the transportation services provided under these terms. This includes any liability arising from the actions of our drivers during the journey.

INSURANCE COVERAGE
We maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by law to protect against liabilities arising from the provision of private hire vehicle services. This includes insurances mandated by Transport for London (TfL) regulations.

AMENDMENTS TO TERMS
Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, regulatory requirements, or our business operations. Any amendments will be posted on our website, and where appropriate, notified to you by email.

  2. Hourly Chauffeur Hire
  3. Corporate Travel Services
  4. Wedding Transportation
  5. Event Transportation (including large-scale or high-profile events)
  6. Evening and Leisure Hire

PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES:
Our chauffeurs are trained to exercise judgment and will drive at speeds appropriateto the prevailing road conditions and legal speed limits. Passengers must not request that chauffeurs exceed speed limits under any circumstances. Unless a specific route has been pre-agreed with you, the chauffeur will determine the most suitable route based on their professional assessment of convenience and efficiency, which may not necessarily be the shortest in distance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the booking is cancelled by the customer more than 24 hours before the scheduled trip, all payments made will be fully refunded.
If the booking is cancelled by the customer between 12 and 24 hours before the scheduled trip, 50% off the payment will be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled by the customer less than 12 hours before the scheduled trip, all payments made will be non- refundable.
If the customer does not arrive at the designated pickup location at the agreed time, all payments made will be non-refundable. Our drivers will wait for 45 minutes and attempt to contact the customer, however if they do not receive a response, they will leave.

REFUNDS
If a booking has been paid in full and a refund is agreed, any payments made will be refunded directly to the payment method used on the invoice.

DISCRIMINATION
We operate a strict policy of non-discrimination for race, religion, sexual orientations, health and disability and all other areas of discrimination.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
It is the responsibility of any individual or organisation booking transport either for themselves or on behalf of others to inform Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd in advance of any health or safety considerations that may affect the journey. This includes, but is not limited to, any medical conditions, mobility issues, or special requirements. If, upon review, Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd determines that it is unable to safely accommodate such requirements without compromising the safety of the customer, chauffeur, or other passengers, we reserve the right to decline the booking.

ANIMALS IN VEHICLES
We accommodate guide dogs and other assistance animals accompanying registered disabled passengers. All other animals may be accepted at our discretion and must be declared in advance.
Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd reserves the right to refuse the transportation of animals, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance animals used by individuals with a registered disability.

SUBMITTING A COMPLAINT
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the chauffeur service provided, you have the right to submit a complaint. Complaints should be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] or by using the contact form available on our
website. Please include the following details to help us resolve your complaint as quickly as possible:
  •  Your full name and contact information
  •  The date and time of the service
  •  A description of the issue or concern
  •  Any relevant documentation or evidence (e.g., receipts, photos, etc.)
We will investigate your complaint thoroughly and make every effort to resolve it fairly and promptly.
We will notify you of the outcome and any actions taken in writing.

PROCEDURE FOR LOST ITEMS:
Our drivers are required to inspect vehicles at the end of each journey and report any items left behind. If you believe you have lost an item during your trip, please contact us via email or website form, promptly with as much detail as possible, including the date, time, booking reference, pick-up and drop-off locations, vehicle number, and driver's name if known.

We will make every reasonable effort to locate and return your property.

PROCEDURE FOR FOUND IITEMS:
All lost property is dated and tagged as soon as it is brought to Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd office.
All lost items found in our vehicles will be retained for a period of 14 days. During this time, we will make efforts to contact the customer and arrange for the return of the items. If unclaimed after 14 days, the items will be either disposed of or donated to a local charity.

We take pride in delivering a high standard of service and understand how important it is to assist with recovering lost items. We appreciate your cooperation in following our lost property guidelines.

Danex Chauffeurs London Ltd complies fully with all TfL Operator Licencing requirements.
